Strange Sounds The Night

I was awaken the third night that Dora was in the house by a strange noise so I went to go check it out. I noticed that it was Dora and she was having a dream. She was probably dreaming about chasing the lure on the track because her paws were moving and twitching like she was running or chasing something. It was the cutest thing I had ever seen and sometimes when she makes these strange sounds she gets louder and louder. Makes you wonder what dogs dream about. My other dog Jada also dreams but she doesnt make funny sound like Dora but she does kick her paws around to.

Accident In The House

It's never fun when you come home from work and find that your pet has had an accident in your house. Dora's first night was good but when the second night came she had a accident on my living room floor. She never went to the bathroom on her bed in the kennel. Well come to find out, the dog food that i had already been given my other dog was going right through her so I had to go out and buy a different kind that would be good for both of them.

Divina aka Dora

I adopted Dora about four years ago working at a greyhound racing kennel. She is a fawn female and about 8 years old now. I fell in love with her the first day I started working there. There was something about her that just caught my eye. So when she retired I decided I wanted to to take her home but I wasn't sure how my other dog and her would get along. I wanted to make her feel as comfortable as possible. Dora loves to sleep all day but as soon as you say the word cookie she is up and running to you looking for a cookie. It's the funniest thing. I don't know what the whole drinking out of the toilet thing is but she seems to like to do that all the time, so we have to keep the bathroom door closed. LOL. She is also very smart. I caught her one day using her paw to open the the lower cabinet to get to the cookies....well gotta find a new hiding spot now. She also likes to hide car keys. anything she can find. Dora and Jada (my other dog) when left alon they are always getting into something, like partner in crime...but in the doggy way. Having Dora here gives Jada a playmate when we are at work or just out. well thats it for now.
